Dr. Chavarriaga

Dr. Mauricio Chavarriaga is a distinguished professional with a diverse background in the dental field. His journey in dentistry began when he completed a Post-Graduate Fellowship in Endodontics in June 1993. Following this, he dedicated five years as a General Dentist Limited to Endodontics in Colombia until 1998.

Upon his arrival to the US, Mauricio started as a volunteer Dental Assistant, and later transitioned into a role as a Dental Hygienist. In 2001, his passion and dedication led him to the Foreign Trained Dental Program from the University of Florida. Two years later, he would graduate having achieved the Outstanding Academic Achievement Award.

After 2 years in general practice, he pursued an Endodontic residency program at the University of Michigan, earning his specialty certificate in Endodontics in June 2007. Dr. Chavarriaga’s journey is a testament to his unwavering dedication to providing top-quality dental care and expertise in the field of Endodontics.

He is a member of prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Association, American Association of Endodontics, Florida Dental Association, Greater Orlando Dental Society, Michigan Dental Association, Michigan Association of Endodontics, and he is Board Eligible of the American Board of Endodontics.
