Mid-Florida Endodontics Waterford Lakes provides specialist root canal care for east Orlando, including Avalon Park and the UCF area. Endodontists offer root canal therapy, retreatment, and apicoectomy with 3D CBCT imaging and microscope magnification. Dental emergencies can often be seen the same day; a referral is preferred but not required.
This office often has same-day emergency care.
Here is what to expect, how to stay comfortable, and when to call us.
Bring your dental insurance card, a photo ID, and any specialist referral from your general dentist if your plan requires one.
CBCT (a focused 3D X-ray) shows the tooth roots, canals, and surrounding bone in detail a flat X-ray cannot.
The tooth is fully numbed, so treatment feels much like a routine filling.
A surgical microscope lets your endodontist see fine canal anatomy that is invisible to the naked eye, and 3D imaging maps the roots before treatment.
Wait until any numbness wears off so you do not bite your cheek or tongue.
