BIOGRAPHY

Dr. Abdennour is a graduate of Washington University School of Dental Medicine. Following his dental degree, he attended a postgraduate general practice residency in California. Dr. Abdennour then graduated from Harvard University’s Endodontic Program, receiving his specialty certificate in Endodontics and a Master in Medical Sciences in Oral Biology. While a resident at Harvard, he also trained in surgical endodontics at the Karl Franz University Hospital in Austria. Among other faculty, he conducted endodontic research contributing to the patent of an intra-canal endodontic therapeutic agent. He also holds a patent for an endodontic PPE dental and ophthalmic microscope barrier. For over 20 years, Dr. Abdennour has held a faculty appointment position at the Endodontic Program at Harvard where he teaches surgical and non-surgical endodontics.

He was recently the recipient of an esteemed part-time faculty award from Harvard University’s Department of Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences. He lectures at dental conventions, society meetings, and has performed live endodontic surgery at Advanced Endodontic Programs. He conducts endodontic lectures and seminars in English, French and Spanish in the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, Dr. Abdennour is Past-President of the Massachusetts Association of Endodontists. Dr. Abdennour enjoys traveling, international cuisine, reading history and spending time outdoors with his wife and daughter.
